Despite the gloomy weather outside, 305 West End Assisted Living & Memory Care was filled with sunshine as a small yet passionate group of artists took the stage. Audience members seemed to know every word and were reluctant for the sing-along to end.
Rebbekah Vega-Romero's performance of "Much More" was enchanting, with one enthusiastic patron even beckoning her over for a sweet kiss on the hand. (see video)
Susan Cohen DeStefano treated the crowd to a delightful program featuring all British Invasion pop hits.
Traci Bair's lovely aria “O Mio Babbino Caro” and her rendition of “Over The Rainbow” had audience members streaming in from the lobby to join in.
As a special treat, accompanist Christopher Zander took a turn in the spotlight, dazzling the audience with the Overture from THE KING AND I.
Adding to the magic of the session, longtime patron, Betty, recounted her delightful experiences at many opening nights on Broadway with her husband, who was once the editor of Playbill!
