I can think of no better way to spend an afternoon than sharing the joy of song with members of our senior community. Today at 305 West End Avenue was a great experience!
This afternoon, I was joined by the lovely and talented trio of Rebbekah Vega-Romero, Jacquelyn Greenspan and Camryn Elias. Add Mason Griffin on the piano, and it was practically perfect in every way!
The folks at 305 are always so welcoming and thankful for our performances. From "I Could Have Danced All Night" to Carole King on the ukulele, you could feel the smiles and the warmth of their hearts, even when we're still masked up and six feet apart.
I've not been with Sing For Your Seniors for very long, but it has come to be a great joy in my life. Things can still feel uncertain and a bit up in the air, but I know that every month I will have a chance to share my love of music with folks who really love and appreciate what we do. Especially Corrine (front row, stage left).
