It didn’t take long to learn that this was a crowd of music lovers. Many were lifting their voices and clapping their hands to the music. Classics like, “Something’s Coming” and “Over the Rainbow” brought excited and wistful smiles. The entire group united before our eyes as they sang along to “My Favorite Things” and “I Could Have Danced All Night.”
Near the end of our session, one audience member burst out, “You all are wonderful!” We couldn’t help but joyfully gasp to hear this verbal response. It was a transformative afternoon, and we can’t wait to return to visit our new friends at Atria El Camino Gardens - Memory Care.
