The energy was electric during our session at Central Harlem Senior Citizens Center. When you walk in, this community greet you like family, and it truly feels like coming home. Many of the participants arrived early in anticipation of the session.
Davon, a fan favorite, brought the house down with a soulful version of “Waving Through a Window.” Later, he got the audience to sing along to “Impossible Dream.” Ashley followed with a classic from “Anything Goes.” Emily joined Sing For Your Seniors for the first time with a jazzy “Hit Me With a Hot Note.” Tommy put us in a romantic mood with “She’s Got A Way.”
Our seniors got involved by cheering us on. Central Harlem is such a special center for us, and we are so grateful to sing for them every month.
