Down Syndrome of Louisville

As always, our friends at the Down Syndrome of Louisville brighten even the dreariest of Sundays with their warm energy and big smiles. Luke sang for DSL for the first time. The audience loved his rock and roll songs played on the guitar. Getting into a WICKED theme, Erica and Melanie sang “Popular” and “The Wizard and I.” Jean challenged herself by singing a Taylor Swift song she had never sung in public before. Many of our friends at DSL are Swifties and absolutely loved it!

The best part of a DSL session is when the members dance and put on a show for the artists. Their recreation director, Carly, spotlights each member individually on zoom so they can show off their best moves. All left with big smiles on our faces and in our hearts.
