We celebrated Mother's Day early with enthusiastic seniors at Encores Community Center. A few of our singers are mothers too, which added an extra sweet connection with the audience.
A new mother herself, Ashley's powerful rendition of "At Last" drew loud cheers from the crowd.
Rebbekah connected with Harry, who had shared at a previous session his experience as a Broadway company member in CAROUSEL in the 1960s. She sang "If I Loved You" in a moving tribute to him.
Jacquelyn brought a nice contemporary flavor, and Traci closed out the afternoon with a joyful sing-along to "Over The Rainbow." Mark Klett beautifully accompanied all on the piano.
Three Encores members were eager to pose with our singers and were excited to see their picture on Facebook (see photo).
