With so many music and theater lovers together in one room, this was such a special and wonderful session with the seniors and staff at Inspīr Assisted Living.
Taylor shared her beautiful voice with the fan favorites “Moon River” and “Fly Me To The Moon.” Her gorgeous rendition of “I Could Have Danced All Night” earned raucous applause.
It was Anna’s first session with us, and everyone was so happy to have her with us. When she sang “Cockeyed Optimist” everyone in the room was tapping, swaying, singing, conducting, and dancing.
Word must have spread throughout the facility how much fun we were having because more and more people kept joining us.
The audience loved the story behind Emily’s special connection with the song “Astonishing” from LITTLE WOMEN.
Our brilliant accompanist Noah played several piano solos throughout our golden age pieces which drew applause every time.
We are thrilled to have Broadway extraordinaire, Aléna, back! Several audience members at Inspīr remembered her and were so excited to hear her sing again. Her performance of “Someone to Watch Over Me” was so moving it brought tears to Mary, one of our audience members, who knew every word.
We felt honored to be the entertainment for the celebration of two guests who were married in 1955. Congratulations on 68 years of marriage Estelle and Malcolm!
Aléna closed the session with a perfect message of hope and love with “As Long As There Is Love” from MRS. DOUBTFIRE.
We can’t wait to go back to see our friends at Inspīr!
