Mother Nature may have brought the heat to New York City on Monday, but inside at this lovely The Lenox Hill Neighborhood House session, hearts were warmed by beautiful music.
Our audience tapped their toes to Suzanne’s delightful rendition of “I Got Rhythm,” sang along with Melanie’s “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” and marveled as Noah played intricate arrangements of Sondheim classics on piano.
The joy in the room was palpable when Aléna closed out the afternoon with “As Long As There Is Love,” from MRS. DOUBTFIRE. Melanie and Suzanne even joined in at the end of the song.
The Lenox Hill Neighborhood House members and staff alike were eager to know when the next session would be, and the feeling is mutual!
