We had 22 Zoom screens bopping away on June 21 for the Memory Café NYU Family Support Program at Langone! Daniel Plimpton’s grandparents were two of those people gathered for the live music.
Melanie was our very own dancing queen and funny girl. Mark and Taylor came in smooth with live piano for some jazz and MT classics. Jack accompanied himself on guitar while giving the audience Simon and Garfunkel energy.
Hearing everyone’s selections was beautiful, but the best part of the day was talking with all the joyful seniors at the end. They absolutely loved it, including one of the seniors who is a self-proclaimed tough critic.
We cannot wait to return and are sending love to the NYU folks. It is a treat to be a guest in the community they have built.
