The whole room was buzzing while the warm sun lit up the room at The SAGE Center last week.
We were thrilled to welcome first-time SFYS Artist, Lara Hayhurst, who kicked off our session with a perfect rendition of “Can’t Say No” from OKLAHOMA. Then she sang “Poisoning Pigeons in the Park” by Tom Lehrer, which had the entire audience laughing.
Carlos shared how wonderful it felt to be in a room with so many people that loved all types of music. Then he sang the sweetest version of “Proud of Your Boy.”
Emily sang “Astonishing” from the musical based on her favorite childhood book, LITTLE WOMEN.
Our powerhouse closer, James, got the room toe tapping with “Love Potion Number Nine.” He was recognized by an audience member from his recent appearance as Billy Flynn in CHICAGO on Broadway.

Every audience member shared how much they enjoyed this Sing For Your Seniors session. We cannot wait to see them all soon when we’re back at The SAGE Center.
