The SAGE Center

The universe seemed to be conducting our SFYS concert at The SAGE Center this month, with audience members entering the performance space at the most opportune moments! 

While Robin was wowing us with her rendition of “A Way Back to Then,” on the lyric, “…opportunity walks through the door,” someone did indeed walk through the door. While Sarah cooed “Simple Little Things,” the littlest dog greeted us with its owner. 

Richard’s rendition of “Pure Imagination” glowed with nostalgia. Then Kimberly effortlessly brought the house down with some Fanny Brice. 

First time SFYS performer, Jamie, had the audience singing along with her stunning performances of Linda Ronstadt and Patsy Cline favorites. Noah’s pro sight reading skills made every performance a gorgeous duet. 

Actors rarely get to see the faces of audience members due to the bright stage lights, but the magic of SFYS is getting to actually see the glee on our audience's faces. We get to observe our listeners be entertained and instantly transported to a time and place in their lives through song. This session at The SAGE Center was a lovely reminder of why we perform.
